WP 5 Promotion and Dissemination

Description of work

There are several means to raise awareness about the ForTransRIS project.

Task 5.1. Design a Communication Plan and Communication activities:

A Communication Plan will be developed which will define the dissemination strategy and the results and tools to be used. The Communication Plan will comprise:

• Identification of target groups (in addition to the organizations already involved in project activities): Regional policy makers, representatives of industry, research and business, financial circles, significant business considerations and associations of SMEs. Particular attention will be paid to groups and individuals capable of influencing the implementation of the results.
• Expected outcomes of communication activities:
• A Brochure.
• Articles in regional press.
• Design Trans-regional Foresight Methodology Guide.
• 5 Regional Workshops for the dissemination of the Trans-regional Road Map.
• A “RIS-Foresight European Seminar”, which will be held in Navarra on 2008.
• Communication tools: A Web Page will be launched at the beginning of the project. This web page will include the provision of Internet and Intranet services. A part of the site will be accessible to the public providing general information about the networks and the thematic areas, which they are dealing with. The second part, which will be more exhaustive concerning information provision and will use intranet services in order to facilitate the exchange of information among the members of the network the secretariat and the Commission. Also will be a repository.

Task 1.2. Attendance & Input to Partnership Coordination Meetings:

All partners will have to participate and to contribute to the fulfilment of half-year partnership coordination and technical meetings, which will be divided up into two parts: administrative and scientific issues.
