WP 3 Trans-regional Foresight
Objectives
The aim of this work package is to develop a regional and a Trans-regional foresight exercise following the methodology which has been defined at work package 2.
Description of work
Task 3.1. Design of regional foresight exercise to be conducted in all five regions
Taking into account the Foresight Expert’s know how, a planning of this Transregional Foresight Exercise will be developed: Target groups for the Regional and Transregional Expert Panels, joint calendar, working documents, coordination system.
Task 3.2. Regional Expert Panels
In each of the participating regions, a Regional Expert Panel will be established. These panels will be composed by high qualified people coming from Academia, Administration, Research Organizations, Companies, Technology Centers, Financial Institutions, etc.
Each of the mentioned regional panels will be managed by an expert, and they will build some future hypothesis related to the different aspects of the innovation management in each region.
Task 3.3. Trans-regional Expert Panel
At this stage, a Trans-regional Expert Panel will be constituted. The members of this trans-regional panel will be regional and European innovation experts from public regional bodies, research centres, industry and universities. With the obtained information from all regional expert panels and also with the experience of trans-regional experts, a questionnaire will be developed. This questionnaire will be used at regional level to develop the following step of the foresight exercise: Regional Surveys.
Task 3.4. Regional Surveys
Each regional partner will send the questionnaire to a representative sample of regional stakeholders.
Task 3.5. Survey’s Trans-regional Analysis
The results of the regional surveys will be analysed by the Trans-regional Expert Panel. They will discuss these results and compile them in one Foresight Regional Report for each region.
