Promotion level
- To promote the co-ordination of Regional Innovation Strategies at EU level, in order to contribute to the Lisbon Strategy.
- To raise awareness of the use of Strategic Intelligence Policy Tools, such as Foresight, for the formulation of regional and transregional Innovation Strategies.
- To show the practical benefits of transregional Foresight processes for involved Stakeholders, on the basis of the ForTransRIS experience.
Dissemination level
- To disseminate ForTransRIS project methodology approach and results.
- To present the Transregional Road Map between involved regions as an example of the benefits of using Transregional Foresight.
- To present and to disseminate the Transregional Foresight Methodology Guide.
Exploitation level
- To launch the ForTransRIS Network and to open the participation to potential new members.
- To provide a forum for exchange of information and further co-operation projects or initiatives between Stakeholders of involved regions, for the advancement of the Transregional Road Map.

- RTDI Policy-Makers and Innovation Stakeholders from Navarra (Spain), Stuttgart (Germany), Stockholm (Sweden), Liguria (Italy) and Brittany (France).
- RTDI Policy-makers from EU regions and countries interested of the co-operation and integration of their Regional Innovation Strategies at EU level.
- Scientific experts and practitioners of Strategic Policy Intelligence Tools and Foresight, who can benefit from an advanced experience of the use of Foresight in the design of Regional Innovation Strategies at the regional and Transregional level.
- Policy-makers in the development of coherent RTDI policies at EU level, mainly in the DG Research and DG Regio.
