ForTransRIS partners celebrate a third Consortium Meeting in Genoa, Italy

October 25th and 26th

The Transregional Foresight Pilot Case under Work Package 3 will be on the following topic: Knowledge and Technology Transfer towards SMEs.

After the regional evaluation of drivers affecting this subject and their integration, a methodology has been agreed. This will focus in the development of 2 transregional scenarios (best case and worst case) around 2 Key Drivers, Propensity to Innovation and Business Risk, and Governance. Both scenarios will be specifically appraised and integrated by region partners, until a Transregional Vision is agreed.

Next meeting will take place in February 7th and 8th, 2008, in Stuttgart, Germany. This meeting will be devoted to the agreement on the resulting Transregional Vision and to the preparation of a Transregional Panel of Stakeholders that will take place in Stockholm, on April 2008, for the assessment of the political implications of this Vision, and the design of a Transregional Road Map.
